From one woman's courage to impacting thousands of lives
The journey of PLR Editora begins with the inspiring story of Priscila Marçal.
The Courageous Choice
Priscila Marçal, a nutritionist and pedagogue with two degrees, worked as a teacher of young children at a school in the countryside. She had stability and education, but she wanted to live differently — closer to her children, with more autonomy. It wasn't a lack of opportunity; it was a conscious choice to build something of her own.
The Beginning in 2020
In the middle of the pandemic, Priscila made the decision to leave everything behind to sell flan. Not desserts in general — flan, specifically. A product no one took seriously, seen as "grandma's dessert." She had never made a flan in her life. The judgment was immense: "how could you leave two degrees behind to sell flan?"
Creating a Market
Priscila didn't enter an existing market — she created one. She was the first person to develop her own flan confectionery method in Brazil. Her absolute focus on a single product, one no one believed had potential, is exactly what makes her journey extraordinary. Today, she is the definitive reference in the segment.
PLR Editora Is Born
With exponential growth came the need for a professional structure. Priscila, Rafaella and Lilla joined forces to found PLR Editora, formalizing the development of digital products and the marketing operation that was already impacting thousands of women.
Global Impact
Today, PLR Editora's products reach customers in Brazil, the United States and Canada. More than 25,000 women have been impacted, discovering in flan a path to financial independence. As Priscila says: "flan is a highly profitable means" — and digital products are the bridge that connects that means to thousands of transformed lives.
